Website Re-Design and Development, Association of Canadian Ergonomists (ACE), 2005
The ACE website committee was in a position to re-design and re-develop their website although on a very short timeline. The job was to duplicate the old website but with enhancements and changes to help improve portability, usability, and functionality. These design changes and enhancements were provided by the website design team (mostly usability experts) during the initial phases of development. A rapid-prototyping model was used to incorporate feedback quickly and efficiently.
One change was of particular note: a change to a multi-lingual website. This required a structural design model that accommodated not only French and English but any other language.
Team members included ACE members with expertise in usability and design.
